Directions for Use – As a dietary supplement, mix one scoop with 8oz to 10oz of water and consume before, during, or after a physical activity. For best results, consume during your workout. For intense workouts, you may consume a serving at bedtime for faster recovery. It is recommended that you consume 128oz of water throughout the day.
Electrolytes (Potassium and Sodium Choloride) – Electrolytes are important because they are what your cells (especially nerve, heart, muscle) use to maintain voltages across their cell membranes and to carry electrical impulses (nerve impulses, muscle contractions) across themselves and to other cells. When you exercise heavily, you lose electrolytes in your sweat, particularly sodium and potassium. These electrolytes must be replaced to keep the electrolyte concentrations of your body fluids constant.
Vitamin B12 – Vitamin B12, is a nutrient that helps keep the body’s nerve and blood cells healthy and helps make DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Vitamin B12 also helps prevent a type of anemia called megaloblastic anemia that makes people tired and weak.
Leucine – Leucine, is not only a BCAA, it is an essential amino acid, which means our bodies can not produce it so we must get it from other sources. Leucine is the most abundant of the three branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) in muscles (the other two are isoleucine and valine). BCAAs make up a high proportion of the amino acids in muscle. Leucine is one of the three BCAAs and is unique in its ability to stimulate skeletal muscle protein synthesis. In fact, leucine has about a 10 fold greater impact on protein synthesis than any other amino acid!
Isolecine – L-Isoleucine, is one of the essential amino acids that cannot be made by the body and is known for its ability to help endurance and assist in the repair and rebuilding of muscle. This amino acid is important to body builders as it helps boost energy and helps the body recover from training. Isoleucine, like Valine is a BCAA, and they both serve as precursors for glutamine and alanine, used during intense weight training. It is used as fuel by muscle cells, sparing other amino acids from being burned up.
Valine – Valine, is another one of the essential amino acids, and along with Leucine and Isoleucine, it makes up the three BCAAs. Valine acts as a source of energy for muscle tissue and helps promote mental vigor and a feeling of overall calm. It has been found helpful in treatments involving muscle metabolism and coordination, tissue repair, liver and gallbladder disease, mental and emotional upsets, insomnia and nervousness. Valine, also helps maintain proper nitrogen balance in the body.
L-Carnitine Fumarate – L-Carnitine (carnitine) is an essential, non-toxic, natural nutrient that helps burn fat for fuel. The most critical role that L-carnitine plays in the body is in helping to transport fat, particularly long-chain fatty acids, into the mitochondria of cells. Once there, they can be oxidized—used as fuel—to generate adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. L-carnitine does this cellular work this both when you exercise and rest, but research confirms that it is especially effective during intense exercise.
Betaine Anhydrous – Betanine Anhydrous, is a vitamin derived from choline. Betaine Anhydrous is a versatile vitamin that is used by the body for a wide variety of purposes such as protecting DNA Formation, supports immune function as well as helps to maintain intestinal function. But for the iEndure, its main purpose is to help with the absorption of other nutrients.
Taurine – Taurine, a conditionally essential amino acid, is the second most abundant amino acid in muscle tissue next to glutamine. Taurine exists in very high concentration in the brain and plays a neuromodulatory role in this area. Taurine alters the actions of inhibitory neurotransmitters like GABA , which is suggested to be the mechanism for increased focus noted with taurine supplementation. Of importance to bodybuilders, taurine-based supplements, like iEndure, helps to increase brain performance, focus, and time on task.
HICA (Leucic Acid) – HICA or Leucic Acid, is an end product of leucine metabolism in human tissues such as muscle and connective tissue. According to the clinical and experimental studies, HICA can be considered as an anti-catabolic substance. Studies have shown that HICA, has the ability to increase lean muscle mass, reduce DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness), and increase overall muscle endurance.
